Her CD "Thankful" came out yesterday. Anyone get it? Who likes it? I bought it yesterday because CD's always go on sale when they first come out. I like it. Some songs are ok, but there are about 3 or 4 I really like.

Surprisingly, I have heard many positive things from this album. I'm proud of Kelly.

Yups. Miss Independent. I was reading the sleeve. I was surprised to see Kelly helped write them all too.

IM GETTING IT TOMORROW!!!! some peeeeopleeee waaaait a lifetime for a mommeeeeent like this. i liked that song when it first came out.

I could tell. I'm listenin to that song on the radio and I'm like...that sounds exactly like something Christina would sing.

I wanna get that cd. But Madonna's cd is my first priority.

I got it.. I love it!!! LOL Crystal I like Hilary Duff too!! I love her song why not :D. But Kellys new cd is awesome. I used to not like her because of her one song A Moment Like This. It was too overplayed. But man, this is great stuff! People go out and buy the dang thing! :)

When Kelly Clarkson's debut album Thankful came out I think it opened up a whole bunch of doors for her because not only because she won American Idol but she had an amazing voice and she could sing soul and pop songs and covers with ease. But why did they give her a rock sound on Thankful? When I bought Thankful I was shocked to see that in between the soul sound she sang rock songs and it's no wonder why she adopted a rock sound for her second album Breakaway. But I think part of why Thankful was a successful album for Kelly Clarkson was because people thought she would be huge as Whitney Houston and Taylor Dayne. But what I can't figure out is why is A Moment Like This and Before Your Love were advertised as new mixes on the cd? Was there gonna be dance remixes of Before Your Love and A Moment Like This but they were not made in time to be on Thankful? Because I found that they were the original versions
