My teacher/future mother-in-law is convinced that Elizabeth Smart ran away from home and that she wasn't actually kidnapped at all but hired those freaks as her "kidnappers".
What do you guys think?

I think she really was kidnapped and held against her will by those animals.

That's crazy! Why would she leave that nice house and family and friends that love her to go live on the street?

I dont think she ran away I think they really did kidnap her
I think she was kidnapped. If you really wanted to run away you would just run away. You would not go through all the trouble and planning of hiring kidnappers.

I think she was really kidnapped. If she hired them, then she wouldn't have to go through therapy and everything else, because she wouldn't be scared, because she knew nothing was gonna happen to her, because she knew she hired them.....
