Dear Unsolved Mysteries fans,

What is your opinion about the possibility of extraterrestrial life?

Unsolved Mysteries has done several very dynamic episodes about possible alien life forms, wouldn't you agree?

I believe that some of these people whom assert that they have had real experiences are telling the truth. Whom, for example? The Allegash (sp?) four, is one example. I believe that those men REALLY saw something strange. Why? I guess that thier story seems plausible to me. Ostensibly, a doctor hypnotized them, and they told the truth as they saw it- that they were abducted by beings from another world.

What about the story of the pilot whom disappeared over Bass Strait? Again, I believe that he saw something. Where did he venture to? Could it be that he was taken away to a distant star system? Maybe. Or perhaps, the answer is more mundane. Maybe he crashed at sea. But if this were true, and he crashed, wouldn't someone have eventually found flotsam on the tides? Wouldn't the airplane have left some evidence of the crash?

I remember distinctly the story of the woman in Canada whom claims that she witnessed the landing of a UFO. Do you remember that one? And some scientist or researcher received that video tape from the mysterious "Guardian"? That tape seemed authentic to me, albeit I am not an expert by any means. I thought it showed something real, however.

I have had some wierd things happen lately. Beware what you wish for. It seems that I have had some odd things happen. I have seen strange yellow and red lights in the woods behind my house at nighttime. The other day, I woke up "upside down" on the couch (my body was turned completely around from the normal position). I don't think that I have had somnambulistic tendencies in the past- so how could this have happened?

Have you had anything bizarre happen? What is your opinion about the existence of alien life?

Hi EyesoftheNile!

I personally have never had anything weird happen to me, but my mom has. She has told me of two different experiences that happened while she was a child in S. California (circa 1950s/60s).

Her first experience was in 1959 at the age of 7, when she and my grandmother were driving around the town they were living in at the time. They both looked up and saw a hovering object, like a silver football, hovering over a forest about half a mile away. It hovered for a few moments, and then suddenly whipped into the sky, as it it was a yo-yo, and vanished.

The second experience my mother had was around age 10 while she was bike-riding. I don't think was extra-terrestrial, though. She was riding bikes with a friend through a field in late aftternoon when a quiet object flew overhead. It was a very low and flying very slow. Mom said that it wasn't an oblong object, but probably a government test plane. It looked exactly like the Stealth, which of course was unheard of in 1962. Mom also lived near an airforce base, which is how she figures this was a test plane instead of a UFO (a UFO by definition, that is).

I have no doubt that she believes in life from outer space. I, too, believe that we are not alone. But whether or not we have made contact or will make contact is what I am unsure about. I cannot believe that we have yet to make contact with other life forms, unless the govt. has and they are hiding it. You know how they love to cover things up.

Dear AllieRain,

Hey! Thank you for your responses that you posted here and elsewhere in regards to my posts. I appreciate the fact that someone at least is paying attention to me! He he he.

I saw an interesting movie this weekend. Some aspects of the film were repugnant- but it was such an astonishing story, as well. I now desire to read the book, since I have seen the film. If you would like to know of what I speak, then I can tell you in another post. Once again- thanks for the messages.

Sincerely,

EyesoftheNile

The movie is "Dreamcatcher". It was astounding! Stephen King has created something special with this one. I now want to read the book, because the film was so intruiging........but let me tell you that there are parts of the movie that are disgusting. But the story itself is very unique and different!

"Dreamcatcher"...totally snubbed locally by critics, but then I don't listen to them anyway. :P I love King's work. I need a good movie to see, I've seen 'Two Towers' too many times. Perhaps this will be the next one. :)
