View Full Version : Favorite Family Restaraunt
Fran Fan 04-14-2003, 04:27 PM What's your favorite "family" restaurant? You know, those common restaurant chains you see all over the place, like Olive Garden, Sizzler, Denny's, iHop, etc. that are not fast food places.

My choice goes to... Sizzler. Yummy salad bar and they have that yummy cheese toast and yummy pizza slices from the salad bar buffet and more yummy stuff.
:woohoo:

Mmmm, I love Red Lobster too. I don't eat there that often because it's quite expensive but their seafood rocks!
Brandon 04-14-2003, 07:26 PM Red Lobster, Old Country Buffet
Mijada 04-14-2003, 07:37 PM Olive Garden is good. I always get the soup, salad and breadsticks. I'm getting tired of all the Coney Islands that are popping up around here.
°Bubbly Blonde° 04-14-2003, 08:38 PM I forgot about Red Lobster, Applebees, and Bahama Breeze
Tuesday Weld 04-14-2003, 08:56 PM The thing about places like Applebees,TGI Fridays,Olive Garden, etc. - their food is really good, but the servings are just TOO big,I can't eat that much and to pay for all that food and not be able to eat it,is a waste.

TGI Friday's? Oh, there's yet another yummy place. Too bad most of the people I know don't want to eat there. They think it's too loud and obnoxious but I like it.
Next time you go to Olive Garden, try their Chicken Alfredo Pizza. It isn't very large and it's very yum. You'll probably like it.

It's not that big, but then again I'm a pig and eat everything in sight. You could always wrap it up and take it home and eat it later, I do that a lot.
ABlairican Pie 04-15-2003, 12:37 AM Sizzler and Old Country Buffet. There's also a Chinese place in Kent called Peking Garden where I had my first baby octopus.:liplick: Mmmmmm....chewy.

Fran Fan 04-15-2003, 12:49 AM We also have a place here called The Country Inn that specializes in Chicken Fried Steak and Country Fried Steak and has an old fashioned old-tyme atmosphere.

You can count me in there with those people you know. I hate TGI Friday's! To me it's like going to a restaurant in hell and being waited on by an 'Up With People' troop!
:barf:
The places I do like are Old Country Buffet, and most any Chinese buffet. As you can see, I prefer buffet's. No waiters! I just like to get my food and be left alone to eat it.

Krisalicious 04-15-2003, 05:44 PM Olive Garden is my favorite. Their chicken parmesan and chicken alfredo is great. I also like Friendly's, Macaroni Grill, and Outback Steakhouse.
*Pleasant Tomorrow* 04-15-2003, 05:58 PM Friendly's. I love their breakfasts. Anyway, we don't have half those places here. We JUST got Applebee's and I haven't even been there yet...and there's rumor we might get an Olive Garden...dunno yet, though.
