Does anyone know if Punky Brewster ever found her mother?

This is really sad. One can only hope that they would unite Punky with her mother!!!

I can't remember this show for beans. Well I remember a little. I remember that Punky and her mother were at the grocery store, and Punky was waiting in the car and her mom went into the store but never came out. Um, wasn't their a search to find her? Was this ever discussed on the show?

When I think about it, this show was crazy. Her mom bails, and she just moves in with this old guy and her mother is rarely talked about again. The only time I can think of her being really discussed later was the time Punky gets frazzled when "My" gets thrown out because her deadbeat mother had given it to her.

Hmm, I remember more about this show than I thought. Well, in any event, I want to see it again.

Punky's mother is also discussed in "Yes Punky, There is a Santa Claus" when Punky asks Santa for her mother for Christmas and the episode "The Search" when Punky and Mike try to find thier mothers.

It may have been interesting if Punky did find her mother but then it would take away the whole point of the show because the whole story is about a young girl who is abandoned and then later adopted by a man who finds love in his heart for her.
