The fifth season comes to a close with pivtol back-to-back epsoides of John and Chris's feelings for one another come to the surface.

"Chris's EX"
In the first, John gets jealous, when Chris's all-to-friendly ex husband comes and stays her apartment. the good docter tries everything to keep the duo apart because he fears they'll get back together, if he doesn't intervene. In the concluding half hour John realizes he may be inlove with Chris after a series of romantic dreams about her, but he fears she doesn't feel the same way.Everything comes to head when Chris suddenly hospitaliezed, and they each make surpirisiing confessions.

MYBFGL will be returning next season, more than likely Becker willl too, I don't know for a fact though...
Its funny, cause like four months ago me and Sara were talking and I predicted that in one epsoide Chris's ex would show up and cause problems, and that would upset Becker, I was right, then I predicted that chris would be hit by a car or something and be in a hospital, and that would bring Becker and Chris together, and what you know, I was right about that too.....what a quiendence! Kind'of cool though in way....

Wow!I was expecting the season to come to a close in May
like most primetime shows.So no May sweeps for Becker.

I'm alittle worried about the show's fate for another season.I've hard talk that it s possible Becker won't get renewed for next season.

I pretty much enjoyed the past season but was alittle
disappointed because I thought maybe they would
do alittle more with Linda and her hot boyfriend Kevin.
There was some potential there. :(

what? were did you hear that from? I heard it has a good chance to be renewed for next season, becuase its had very reasonable ratings....I know the Linda and her boyfriend story was great, they had lots of potentional...
I also know that CBS will announce their returning primetime shows May 16, so watch on tv or check the internet when that time comes around...

Why are some shows having their season finales so early this season? Ed had its season (possibly series) finale last Friday and the Scrubs season finale is supposed to be this Thursday. I think a few others are ending before May sweeps too.

On another site.Maybe it was mostly speculation on their part.

I sure hope Becker gets renewed.


Good Morning Miami ended its season in April,too.
Seems to be a bit of a trend.

I don't know, why a ton of shows are ending before May sweeps. May sweeps pretty much sets the tone for the season overall, its preety much the average. I know Scrubs won't be returning next season, so if any of yall need to know if your show will be back let me know... by the way MYBFGL has ended its season(its begining to grow on me), and the werid part is that CBS doesn't say "Season Finale" for Becker, so they may stretch it out until the first weekend of May, maybe, I'm forsure, tvguide says that it ends May 20th with "Chris's Ex" and the concluding epsoide "Daydream Beleiever", who knows what will happen...:confused:

First of all Jen I gotta say that thing with you and your friend Predicting what would happen is SOO COOL I have a bit of Telepathy myself so sometimes I can see things like that happening SOMETIMES I'M way off though it depends

I know a certain person on these boards who won't be very happy with that news :lol:

I heard a lot of shows ended their seasons early because networks wanted less interruptions in between new episodes.

A lot of shows also were extended by many episodes (8 Simple Rules, According to Jim, Reba; to name just a few) so there would be less interruptions.

I was watching E! news live last friday and the Kristen tv girl(who gives you the scoop on all your fav shows) said Scrubs won't be returning next season, something like do to ratings, on the other yall could be right, and I could be wrong. Thats just what I heard though.
