The 2 hour pilot for the new series did decent last night, for a Saturday that is.
From 9-10pm it was tied with CBS's The District for #1 for the hour at a 5.2/10 and 10-11pm it was #1 for the hour with a 5.7/11.
Overall it was a 5.5/11. Not bad for a Saturday. It will air for 5 more weeks this season on Saturdays 9-10pm E/P on NBC starting next week.

HUNTER SEARCHES FOR A MURDERING 'SHARK' -- The discovery of an illegal Mexican teenager soaked and wandering the streets, leads Lieutenant Hunter (Fred Dryer) and Sergeant McCall (Stepfanie Kramer) along with INS agent Reeder (guest star) to a "Shark" smuggling immigrants in the US on the high seas, only to murder them off the San Diego coast. However, when Hunter discovers the mass murder was a not business as usual for this smuggler, he begins to question Reeder's motives. Mike Gomez, Sid Sham, Michelle Gold, Alex Mendoza, and Ana Maria Lagasca also star. "Hunter" is produced by Vic Schiro and Scott Levitta ("Silk Stalkings"). Dryer, Emmy Award winner Stephen J. Cannell ("The Rockford Files"), Stu Segall ("The Chronicle" ) and Frank Lupo ("Wiseguy") - who also penned the teleplay --serve as executive producers. Ric Kolbe directs the episode produced by Stu Segall Productions for 20th Century Fox Television and NBC Studios.
