The episode description says Archie eats a bad batch of mushrooms. Are they like "trippy" shrooms or something??

Any info is appreciated.Thanks:D :D

Archie thought the mushrooms he ate were pokinose (I don't know if it's spelled correctly or not) ones but in the end (after getting all the antibiotics and everything), he finds that they were not that kind after all. I don't think they were the trippy mushrooms like you mentioned.

N@N has aired that episode. I've seen it. They weren't trippy mushrooms, and I didn't see anything wrong with the episode. For Dick Van Dyke on TV Land, they always skip "It May Look Like a Walnut" but air it in specials. I can see why they do that for that show/episode, but for AITF, I don't know.

For Three's Company they skipped pretty much all of the 1st season, and are barely playing any episodes from Seasons 2 and 3. N@N is getting incredibly weird. Or, well, they've been weird, but this is getting annoying, episodes constantly skipped over, etc. TV Land is getting better at showing all episodes (not a single ep of Mary Tyler Moore yet skipped, same with I Love Lucy, Leave it to Beaver), but they still have their flaws too.

What episode # is Archie Eats and Runs? I'll probably find it before you post again, so I'll keep an eye out for it too.

You've got mail.

Hopefully you'll be able to catch it if they play it again. Odd they would always skip it. But it has aired before.

I have videotaped that episode. That one was funny. It's funny how Archie reacted to the food poison he thought he had. They were Pocono mushrooms Edith used to make beef and mushroom stew. I like how Mike was trying to call Ferguson's to find out if the mushrooms Edith used were the poisonous mushrooms.

The first time it aired in 1973, the Mushroom Advisory Board (or something) objected to a reference to people dying from eating poisoned mushrooms, so that line was deleted in all future airings of the episode, even in syndication. But I saw that episode on TV Land once, and the line was included.

The poisoned mushrooms ep is my favorite. As well as the other panic and wildness, Gloria has a terrible cold and she gets upset Mike isn't paying much attention to her:

"You know something Michael....I may be sick...but you're SICK!"
