LOl.. a nice Atlantic City story. Well, we went there yesterday on the way home. It was so cold and windy there on the boardwalk. Yah well anyways we're walking by these things that have lil seats where someone pushes you around in (anyone know what Im talking about)? So we walk by and a guy asks if we want a ride. Me, being lazy decide to do it so we all hop in. Hes talking to us and stuff (not being able to understand WTF hes saying) and gives us a lil tour or whatever. Well, we start off @ Trump Plaza and go to the Taj Mahal- it took us about 45-55 minutes IMO. The guy was so damn pushy about letting us take pics, he'd bring us to our SUV (across the busy street...riiight) so finally we decide to get off @ Bobs Food Shop or whatever it was called. Well we stop and we get ready to pay. So he goes ok... thats $100 each because we rode for 4 miles. ($300!!!) and hes like.. oh thats too high (no sh*t) so he says $50 each-- $150. We have like, practically no money left from vacation and we're like uhh ok. Then Im like.. well I have my card and he gets all excited. And hes like oh if you want to do some shopping Ill wait for you guys- he declined. So we go in and hes outside. The ATM is right there and my mother and Amanda go to the back and tell one of the guys who works there our story. He was going to let us escape out the back so we wouldnt have to pay, but since I was @ the ATM I couldnt hear what was going on. Then I went over there, but the guy came in so we had to act like we were going to eat. He waited for us inside!! Oh meangya! So then we're trying to think of plans etc. then we tell the cook our story and the guy comes over and finally settles for $20 each-- $60 total. We give him the $$ and he leaves- although we're still pissed about the money. So then we eat and stuff and as we're leaving the cooks are telling another one of the cart pushers our story and he thinks its totally ridiculous and we should call the police because we've been scammed. He said the most we shouldve paid was $35 total. He asked for a description and said it was Frank and that he always over charges. He said hes been to court for it and should be removed. So then he gives us a ride to The Trump Plaza and we start looking for a policeman. We finally find out and tell him our story and then we find Frank. The cop gets a backup and he starts telling Frank that he over charged us. Frank was then like.. Ohh.. I was only joking about the $300 and $150. Ooook. Then the cop says that it wasnt 4 miles-- it was only about 2.2 and that it only shouldve taken about 40 minutes! Frank starts getting all pissed and after about 10 minutes of arguing he finally settles and gives us $30 back. Meangya!

Omg! Oh man, sounds like you had quite an experience. Too bad that guy wasn't arrested for scamming you guys, you'd think he'd learn by now.

o0o yea.. it was... interesting LOl. The cop and the other guy said he does it ALL the time and that its good we told them.

What a shame. Luckily you got some money back. I have had rides on those push carts and believe me the most we've ever paid was $15.00 (That's with 4 people - 2 adults 2 children.) Thank goodness you found some good people to help you out...
