This board is starting to die! Come on, people! We need to keep it active!

I'm still around! (By the way, when TvTome sent me the approvals for the episode Critical Choices, I knew it was you right away talking about Jawaharlal!) I think people have kinda stopped talking about HotC because N@N has stopped showing (for right now) new episodes.

(By the way, when TvTome sent me the approvals for the episode Critical Choices, I knew it was you right away talking about Jawaharlal!)

It's getting that bad, eh?

I also added the one for "You Got a Friend." I am starting to try to watch the show again...regardless of how late and what the roommate says.

I caught "Ode to Simone" (well, most of it, since the campus digital cable system was out of whack, and it kept freeze framing and jumping ahead), and was planning to go to sleep and wake up to watch the Valentine's episode last nite, and I remember my alarm going off and getting up at 4:25...but when I was going to turn the TV on, I noticed that it was 5:05. So, I caught the alarm and passed back out. Dag. Obviously the episode is about Valentine's Day, but who were the major characters? Was it mostly about Eric and Simone getting closer?

Well, it was Valentine's day and everyone was thinking about things other than class. Mr. Moore was dreaming of buying a 1965 Mustang convertible, Sarah said she couldn't go some place with Darlene because some guy asked her out, Janice said she liked a boy that was younger than her, Ms. Meara thinks Dr. Samuels is coming on to her and vice versa, Alan wants to ask out Lori, Maria doesn't know which twin boy she likes, and, yes, there was the Simone and Eric thing.
I don't know if you would have liked this episode much. Jaws was underused, again (as was Dennis, in my opinion).
By the way, did you get my other message about getting a VCR co-pilot?

Alan wants to ask out Lori,

Wait a minute! Isn't Lori Arvid's "girl" (in that sense)? Ooh, drama!

I did get the message about the VCR co-pilot. Good idea...too bad my VCR just doesn't work, period!

As for Dennis and Jawaharlal...hey, do the producers think that a heavy guy and a foreigner can't get lovin'? Good lord, their preconceived stereotypes!

Hey, do the producers think that a heavy guy and a foreigner can't get lovin'?

Wow, I SO agree with you on that!
On the subject of Arvid's Lori, at the beginning of the Valentine's episode, he said he was going to give her up and not think about her anymore. That's when Alan stepped in and said he wanted to take her out. Well, Arvid sure wasn't ready for that!
One more thing...did you contribute anything to the Head of the Class page on Jump The Shark? There were a couple of posts talking about Jory and I was just wondering...

Bumping this up, because it seems like once again everyone has disappeared!

I've been lurking, but I really haven't posted because there have been no new messages!

Raye, you're probably close to graduating HS and taking exams (am I right?), if so, then good luck!

Whoa, that's an old message. I did one:
When some of the "old school" characters (cute Jawaharlal...yes, I can spell his name, and I like the way it rolls off my tongue, Jawaharlal..., cool Maria, and precocious Janice) were replaced by those "new class" rejects (liked TJ, though!)

The rest...not me. (I wouldn't be surprised if one weren't from Joher himself.)

I knew that 'his name rolls off my tongue' quote was you!
Anyway, it's hard to post messages when there isn't a whole lot going on in the world of HOTC. I wish they would bring it back on the air or have a reunion movie or Something!!

I did send that letter to ABC yesterday about having a reunion...I hope they respond!

That would be nice- but everyone would have to come back to make it complete!

I hope...with Robin Givens and her problems (the hit-and-"almost" run and people hating her because of her drama with Mike Tyson), Joher and his "issues," and Howard Hesseman pretty much "isolating" himself (since the show went from being about him like it was supposed to and more about the class) and quitting---who knows!

All I know is that that letter is sent, and hopefully it will spark some attention from ABC.

Hi everyone,

I'm still here, but nothing much has been going on with Head of the Class these days. I check this board every day while going through my Favorites list, but nothing significant has gone on and I'm really hoping that with all the old shows they're putting on DVD that Head of the Class is coming soon. I check a DVD website every day as well and there's never any mention of Head of the Class.

realchic1999 - two things...

1 - I noticed that you posted on the imdb.com HotC message boards and I just wanted to tell you that I'm Thunderdome.

2 - I think there was a post somewhere on this board that said Joher didn't want to talk to you or fans or something. Why is that? Just wondering.

Mike
