Sarah posted a thread earlier about what unfair things had happened to you during your day. I believe in balance so I reckon a thread about the good things that happened in your day is required now. :D
So what good thing happened to you today? What made you smile?

About a week ago I said to my mate Kirsty that, when she goes on holiday to Holland - without me!!! - she should send me a postcard to tell me how much fun she's having. I said that to her as a joke, I was being sarcastic, I fully appreciated that she'd be having way to much fun to even think about me......
Today, in the mail, I received a postcard from Kirsty. She told me that she's having a great time and that she hopes to see me soon.
I know it's just a postcard and it probably only took her 2 minutes to write it but it's the fact that she took time out of her holiday to write to me which made me smile. I didn't expect her to do that and, as soon as she gets back, I'll thank her for it.

(How sad am I? Getting all soppy over a postcard? :lol: )

I was in French and me and my friends Lindsay and Erin laughed over stupid stuff until we all got headaches. Actually, we do that everyday in French but it's still fun.

Hmm. Um. I don't know... ask me this yesterday and I could have written you a book... but... nothing today I guess.

I feel like that too. Yesterday was a lot better than today.

My first class was cancelled and I got to sleep in. Yea!

it finally stopped raining. although now that i said that it will probably start back up again. also we watched a movie in my first period instead of read.

Well in my mystery/suspense class my teacher practically pulled down this kid onto the floor. It was so funny because this teacher is so small, and the kid is rather large.

I was supposed to have a major exam in neuropsych this morning. We get to the room and about 10 minutes later, the department secretary came in and said the prof wasn't coming in today and the test will be next Tuesday :clap: :happyface :D

Not a damn thing :(

I wasn't happy at all today, I am depressed.

I kept getting 2 things when i didnt pay for 2 things I only payed for one...and I found 40 dollars in a wallet that was on the floor in the hall when I had to get something from my locker in class....:D

I played Mad Libs with some people in Spanish today, and we got a really funny one about our teacher. I was sitting in my other classes and still laughing...

carmen didnt get voted off last nite, i got to rub it in at school, its thursday, tomorrow's a white day. i met carmen today for lunch and we had a nice make-out session

i defaced ppl in my magazine and laffed at it when my friend saw the defaced pictures of ppl she likes

My 6 year old cousin asked me to download "Proud to be an American" because she heard it in school ( I remember hearing it in school,too. They had this thing called morning program and they sang song and stuff in the auditorium with the little kids...and this was always my fav song from it)and now she's all grooving to it LOL. She keeps singing it and stuff lol and saying "play it again play it again!" and "turn it up" lol. After that I played the American Idol version and it was a video and the first guy that starts singing she goes "he's hot!" and then she wispers, " I mean he's damn hot!" lol and I'm like "Don't swear haha" those are the kinda things that just hafta make you smile. :) :D

The warm weather we had today made me smile. :)

The fact that My EVIL Boss left early today, sending out my Taxes so I CAN BUY A NEW COMPUTER (TRUST ME ITS WORTH THE WAIT) and well thats about it

We watched the 3 Little Pigs in Spanish today.

AAAAAAND perhaps the greatest thing that happened today happened at the concession stand after school. i was getting nachos and as the lady was putting cheese on them, the cheese machine wouldnt stop! it was great! i didnt even have enough chips for the cheese. good day! good day.

I listens to an NFL draft chat and I helped my friend build a fence in there back yard and alot of our friends came to help, all in all Ii had a better day than a bad day.

when everyone clapped and oooooooed when i got in trouble it made me laugh

I just found out the The Beach Boys and KC& The Sunshine Band are playing @ the Oldies 103.3 Free Summer Concert Series so now Im going!!!! :woohoo:

KC and the sunshine band?? NO FAIR! LOL well today I got some new clothes for spring, and I got three new movies. One Cary Grant movie.. and two with Kate!!! And one of them has Lucy in it too so.. yay!

MRS BLASLAND HUGGED ME!!!!!!! See, Jackie and I went into her room afterschool and we were hanging around and Jackie was like "Mrs. Blasland, give me a hug" and she did and I was RIGHT THERE so I was like "Gimme one too!!" and she did and she hugged me for almost EVER and then we left and I almost fell down the stairs, I was all dizzy and I couldn't breathe and Jackie's behind me going "Owwww I hit my elbow" and I went "That's not a good thing Jackie don't do it" like a million time cos I couldn't talk. Then we went to Fay El *the elementary school where her mom works* and we were in the cafeteria and we made up these funny things like "She looks like babies" and "I thought it was pie" but yoo wouldn't get that.... *sigh* it was great.

Despite a sore throat and a cough, I helped my school softball team cream the opposition. I forgot the score, though. I'm one of the catchers for the team.

OH WOW today was the Best day EVER
Lets see her royal Highness the Boss didnt show up today WOOHOOO
some of my kids were being incredibly funnny (meaning my kids from work NOT my actual kids)
My brother helped me find the best top of the line laptop now all I Have to do is order it WOOHOO

Well, today was good for the most part until late this evening, but I am so happy that Dale Earnhardt Jr. qualified 2nd for the race this weekend, and that Three's Company is moving back to the 10 and 10:30 timeslot, that made me very happy. So all in all I had a great day until around 9 this eveining.
