Every single day Susan Sarandon says something that is mentioned on the news, whether it be about war or something else, I think soon, even though she is very popular already, that this 'Golden Age' (she seems like one of those classic actresses, not all these 'Angelina Jolie' etc, actresses) will getting more big movie parts, so new generations appreciate her (older people seem to like her films) and she gets more oscar nominations. The only way anyone, especially the younger people, recognise a good actor is if they're alongside some of the 'happy go lucky' (toby maguire etc) in a braindead film like XXX, then you'll get them watching other films that someone like Sarandon makes (Dead Man Walking)- Anyway, does anyone agree with statements sarandon makes? I support her anti war efforts. als- does anyone that was anti-war, now support the war?
I'm still against it, everyone supports it now, but forgets it was over nuclear weapons, none of which have been found. The Iraqis seem to support Bush more than americans, and very spinelessly, whoever controsl baghdad, the Iraqis worship, and if (probably when) Saddam returns, Bush'll be stabbed in the back. Also- the americans, mainly soldiers start showing fake patriotism, and Bush's vague speeches ( stupid lines like 'we will overthrow Saddam's evil empire' are said cos bush really doesn't know a thing, Rumsfield runs the country more now) It also seems every american soldier must keep a flag down their pants for emergencys, like when they put one over the statue. What I'll hate more is in 40 or so years, when Iraq may have rehabiliatated, American's will say (just like they say to French)- We saved your ass in 2003- making Iraq feel they owe a debt. Anyway- still antiwar, still anti bush.
