Just wondered what is is made of and what fillings you can have? I dont think we get these in England.

I'm in the US and I'm not quite sure what they are either.

It is usually corned beef, swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and russian dressing on rye bread. It is grilled like a grilled cheese sandwich.

My mom loves those. Whenever we go to Big Boy she orders one. I think they are gross.

When I saw the title- I thought it had something to do with the guy that played Pee-Wee Herman, and something related to his final 'downfall'.

I just asked my dad the same thing, b/c they are on the menu for some restaraunt i like..hehe alright enough of my life story

I like the Rachel sandwhiches better..... they're the same as a Ruben but with a different type of meat....

Actually around here anyhow it's 1,000 island dressing.

I love Ruben sandwiches. Pretty much anything on rye. Now I'm hungry again.:liplick:

I wanted to know the same thing- they sounded good. But eh, after reading the ingredients I dont think so! LOl. The only thing I like is the Russian dressing, and I dont even know what it tastes like so who knows if I even like that.
