Do you have these at your school? You know, like most popular, most likely to succeed, and all that gobble-de-goop. The seniors voted for these today & I was nominated for...the shyest! First I was like, woohoo my name's on here, then I was like WTF!?! I'm not shy!!!! Shows how much my class knows me. My friend Josh was also nominated, but he IS shy. My friends pretty much just saw my name on the ballot & voted for me not even knowing what they were voting for. I actually won it & everyone was saying they didn't know why I got it b/c I'm not shy. I have speech class & I'm also a cashier at a store, & you sure can't be shy if you do these things! I don't know what is up w/ that! Poeple were saying, oh, Emily's so sweet & shy & I'm just wondering what people are smoking..

Yeah we have that same kind of stuff at my high school too. It's amazing that like the same girl got nominated for everything on the ballot. Oh wait... not really because she is probably the most popular girl in the school. I think we have most shy and also most outgoing. She was nominated for both which doesn't make any sense.

I hate those. Popularity contests are so stupid.

Nope we didn't have those, the only thing I remembered we had was senior wills and I didn't get to have mine in there because I missed the day they did those.

Oh, I loved those! Of course most of them went to the popular group, but oh well. I heard I got a lot of votes for Most Unforgettable Laugh but thats it. One girl, Brooke wanted to be voted Best Dressed so she made it a point to dress nice everyday. She won, but Lauren, her friend, said that Brooke said that if she didnt win she wouldve thrown the biggest fit and get pissed @ everyone...

I'm only in 8th grade yet. I'm not sure if they do it next year in highschool...but so far they haven't yet.

If there was, even though I'm extremely shy...I wouldn't get voted because I don't think half the kids in school know I exist. *shrugs*

They did that here this year. It's rigged though because your name goes on it only if you're known around. If I'd have been here longer than two years, I might have had a shot to get into it.

I got 'best eyes' in Junior High.

I don't even know if we had those in High School. If we did, I certainly wasn't part of the nominees since I wasn't a 'popular preppy.'

Individuality isn't commended in High School.

Yep, but you only name those things when you are a senior... I really don't see the point in having them, it seems really de-grading to me...

I got nominated for 'Funniest Senior Girl' when I was at school but I didn't win - bloody Rebecca Grafton won the title! I didn't think I deserved to win anyway, I was just annoyed that Michelle Bain didn't get the award cos she's the most hilarious person I've ever met!
The only reason Rebecca beat myself and Michelle was because she is popular and Michelle and I weren't. That's what it all boils down to at school - not who's smartest, not who's more talented, not who's the better person - who's the most popular!
It's all bullsh*t. Don't pay any attention to it.
