Which show is the better one? Which show would you consider the classic?

I can't not stand The Flying Nun, It shocks me that the show lasted more then one season originally ... and lasted so long on TV Land! ... Hopfully it is gone for good.

I find them hardly comparable, but I will choose anyway. The Munsters, most definately.

I liked both shows, but I would have to go with THE MUNSTERS. Actually,
though, THE FLYING NUN's original run was three seasons (compared to only
two seasons for THE MUNSTERS). Nonetheless, the former has probably been
repeated more in syndication and on TV Land than Sally Field's second series.
Still, Sally is one of my favorite actresses and I loved her as both Gidget and
as Sister Bertrille. By the way, Marge Redmond (Sister Jacqueline) guest
starred as a nurse in THE MUNSTERS episode "Operation Herman."

Ratings wise: THE MUNSTERS ranked 18th position in its first season (1964-
1965) tying with GILLIGAN'S ISLAND, while THE FLYING NUN never made the Top 30 during its entire three-year network run.
