I was just listening to the Crickets, so that song's in my head. Anyway, I have bad news. I was hoping to be able to post here immediately following my SAT's, but the way school's going, they're probably not letting us go until school's out. I can wait till the end of June, right? But then I remembered that I'm leaving for Europe a day or two after school ends and I won't be back till the beginning of August.

So I won't be online until August. Isn't that sad? It's making me sad. Rest assured, I still watch Happy Days, but everything's just getting so hectic nowadays that I really cannot take any time off. Even my one glorious week of vacation is going to be spent college-hunting. Sigh, it'll be a long time till August, but that's the only time. So....toodles for now. I'll see you all in August!

I think it might just be a case of not being as much fun for some people with the show not running in a prime "twice as nice" slot on TV Land as it was when the board was full of us "Old School" peeps as Chad put it. Not to mention having the episodes run like that provided fresh converation about the show every day.
I know I feel that way a little myself BUT I literally grew up with Happy Days when it originally aired, so my interest was there
before TV Land or Nick At Nite started airing the reruns and introduced the show to a whole new audience. It's not dependant on seeing the reruns everyday but for some maybe it is. Again this is just a theory of mine, so I hope i don't sound like I'm trashing anyone. Just offering my thoughts.
For me though, even if I take a break sometimes I'll always be back. I mean I had the Happy Days TRADING CARDS growing up! When you read about the show's history and all the kids that wanted to be like The Fonz I was one of them. I could go on but you get the idea. As long as there is a board I'll be here.
