The Comedy Network from Canada, which has been showing WKRP twice a day, has redone its daily schedule and dropped WRKP. Really hope this is a short term decision and that it will come back soon.

I can only hope that means that someone else is picking it up in the U.S. It would be about time. Daybreaker 04-12-2003, 01:11 PM It should be on 3 times a day. DetectiveGriffin 04-12-2003, 05:26 PM I was only able to get a handful of the eps from canada, too, so im all mad and stuff. Oh well, I'll have to learn to live with it - somehow. :) Nanny Fine 04-14-2003, 07:17 AM Originally posted by DetectiveGriffin I was only able to get a handful of the eps from canada, too, so im all mad and stuff. DetectiveGriffin 04-15-2003, 04:24 PM I must have been confused and posted to the wrong board - Ive got krp minus one ep. Thanks though, thanks a lot. Heidi Dawn 04-18-2003, 09:20 AM The Comedy Network will probably lose ratings because they dropped all of the good American sitcoms in favor of Canadian content. It never works, CBC used to air WKRP in the 1990's and after they dropped it and all of the other American shows, the ratings dropped significantly and are still dropping to this day. I'm so glad that I taped all 90 episodes of WKRP back two years ago because I can still watch them. |
