Which would you rather have: Strength or Beauty? and why?

beauty cuz its just better

what kind of strength are you talking about? physical? or like being strong in some subject?

either way I'd go with strength. i know this is such a clique (sp?) but...beauty is only skin deep.

I'd have to say beauty. I think I'm pretty strong right now, both physically and emotionally, so if I had more beauty I'd be good to go. :D

Beauty. I like being pretty. And beauty can keep a lot longer than strength. And beauty is always there.

My answer to this depends on whether we are talking about emotional strength or physical strength.

If we're talking physical strength then I'd rather have beauty. I'm not a physically strong person but it doesn't hinder me any in my daily life. So I can't lift that heavy box of files though to the back room in the office? Big deal - it's not the end of the world! Anyway, I'm a woman and I don't think that women with muscles are attractive! :barf:

If we're talking emotional strength then it's a different story. Of course it would be great if I were beautiful and people fancied me but it'd be even better to be strong enough to ignore people who pick on me and try to hurt me. I try not to let it show but I can be quite sensitive. It'd be nice to have the confidence just to tell all the people who hate on me to f*ck off!

Believe it or not, I am pretty strong (physically). I don't look it. But if you're talking about physical strength, then I guess I'd rather have beauty. I don't think I need to be stronger.

If you're talking about emotional strength... I'd want that. I need the strength to deal with life and cope with things.

strenght emotionaly or phiscaly i already look like i fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down and i don't care what people think plus when you are strong you can beat the crap out of people who pick on others

physical strength...i am pretty strong, but id like to look a little stronger since at i dont quite intimidate people at first glance,.,

Beauty is ********. It only makes you see the outer appearance. If you look good, then who the hell cares how intelligent you are. If you look bad, then no one even gives you a chance because they've already judged you and think you're not the 'right' person for them without saying a word.

So yea, I'm siding with strength. Either emotional and physical cause I can use both. If someone doesn't like me for the way I look, it's their problem, not mine. Tough luck.

I would rather have both, but since I can't choose both, I'll have to go with strength. If you've read a few of my posts, you'll understand why.

I'll go with Strength because I like the way I look but I know I can be more Stronger both physically and Emotionally

I'm already pretty but I would give that up for strength any day.

How come I'm getting the idea of more "masculine-qualities"-bashing here? I get it, guys are he-men and all macho, and women are all soft and sweet and cutie pies...Frogs and snails and puppy-dog tails vs. saccharine and spice and everything nice.
Pantera vs. Culture Club...Aren't you generalizing about what real strength and real beauty are? Strength ISN'T all about muscles and abs, just as beauty isn't all about Max Factor and botox boobies...:rolleyes: Are you saying that guys can't be sensitive to beauty or that girls can't possess qualities of strength?? Must men and women fit into some sexist definition of who they are??

I'm already strong enough I can kick anyones ass who messes with me. Beauty is better though, but I dont have to be more beautiful because I'm already a hot bitch.

But isn't comparing Pantera and Culture Club a bit like comparing apples to oranges?? If you want total ass-kicking metal, Pantera can't be beat, but if you want some fun happy feely-good white r & b-ish toons, Culture Club is the way to go. I'm guessing it's because Karly's big on the 80's toons.:cool:

But the reason why I used these two polar opposites of music was to illustrate the images of "macho" vs. "effeminate." I know this example belongs on the Music Board, but....

Maybe I should post a poll on this?:confused: :idea:

Beauty........ I have alot of kindness and love towards people now so I would def say Beauty :)
