I saw a Billboard by my school to register for dance classes at a studio nearby and I really want to learn how to dance! but my friends keep making fun of me and I get really nervous when I have to do stuff in front of people. But I reaaaaally wanna learn cause I think it would be so fun to do. So does anyone here take dance classes? whats it like? Is it fun? do you have to perform stuff in front of alotta people? I'd like to know please!

I take dance classes at the school I am attending. It's a lot of fun because you learn something that you're really interested in. In this case, I am interested in dancing.
We learn all kinds of dance moves in the class along with hip-hop music in the background. After we learn the dance form, we are tested based on what we know and how fluent we are with the dance form. We do other stuff in the class like watch dance movies, research on hip-hop artists, and make our own dance moves and forms.
I love my dance class and it's my very favorite out of all the classes I take.

yeah, ive been studying ballet for 13 years, modern for 4. i also took jazz for 3 years, irish step for one, and tap for 2.

i dont get nervous on stage- only time i remember being nervous is the first yr i was in the nutcracker. at first performances are just friends/relatives and as you get better you end up performing for larger groups and different people. its a lot of fun though. lot of pain sometimes and long rehearsels but i love it.

Yep.... for the past 9 years I have taken Jazz, Lyrical, Acro and Ballet, but this year I have dropped it all and I'm just sticking with Ballet. I'm okay in Jazz and Acro, but Ballet's my strong point

thats cool. Yeah I wouldn't mind learning any type of dance But I think I wanna go with Hip Hop. well if I don't sign up now I guess I can do it in September. It'll give me more time to think
