View Full Version : Who's Excited? ('Bout LDCH)
Sean Snow 11-27-2001, 10:05 PM Who else is excited about 'Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour' joining the weekend TVLand Lineup in January, along with such classics as "Happy Days", "Laverne & Shirley", "The Jeffersons", and "The Rockford Files"?
I personally can't wait! I remember seeing them when I was younger on Nick at Nite, I especially seem to remember 'Lucy Makes Room for Danny' and the on where Lucy tries to hide a famous man from Ricky.
------------------
From "Make Room for Daddy":
Danny: What do you need a dollar for?
Rusty: 100 lollipops.
Margeret: Honey, you can't possibly eat 100 lollipops!
Rusty: I'm only going to eat One! The other 99 are for the kangaroo on the corner!
Danny: Louise, what have you been putting in this kid's oatmeal?

onlyonelucy 11-28-2001, 12:04 AM I am excited about it although I already have them all on video but I DO wish they'd air "The Lucy Show" and "Here's Lucy"!
LucyFan 11-28-2001, 01:15 AM This would be me. I was looking forward to see "The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour" come to TV Land and now I know for sure the show is on its way to TV Land. I was also looking mega forward to "Happy Days" joining the TV Land line-up someday because I would like to get every (Richie) episode on tape. I never expected "Laverne & Shirley" to join the TV Land line-up but I am SO glad it will because that will help get all of the episodes on tape. But the ONE SHOW I would like see on TV Land is near future is "The Lucy Show". I have always wanted "The Lucy Show" on TV Land. Maybe sometime next year TV Land could get it (The Lucy Show) and surprise us all. That would be cool.
Lucylover22 11-28-2001, 05:22 PM I am!!!!! Iam happy about happy days too!

DarleneIllyria 11-28-2001, 05:35 PM I'm excited too! Tvland is getting better and better. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif I can't wait to start taping it http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif
That Other Fan 11-28-2001, 08:43 PM Not to take away from the excitement, but I would be even more thrilled if it was, "The Lucy Show", or "Here's Lucy" that was airing on TV Land in January.
But I will settle for LDCH! Each of the 13 episodes are VERY funny.
ClassicComedyFan2 11-28-2001, 09:52 PM I saw a few of these under the "We Love Lucy" moniker on my local station. They were split up into two parts, but thankfully the two parts aired back-to-back. (They also aired the first 10 "The Lucy Show" episodes before starting over the ILL cycle)
They were quite funny, but I only managed to tape about 2 of them! Perhaps as one hour, less will be cut. Plus, there are a couple I haven't even seen!
And, "Happy Days" and "Laverne & Shirley" are shows I also really like! After Happy Days got ripped from the lineup of Hallmark, I was just starting to watch it! And, all I've seen of Laverne & Shirley was the Fandemonium marathon a few months back, and only parts of that! As for "The Jeffersons", I've never seen it, but I'll look into one day to see if I like it.
me me!! im excited, even though i have alot of the LDCH tapes, im excited to actually not have to rewind & play them all the time!! hehe.. btw Im Ashley ,im 19 years old and live in florida. I used to post as "Turn Blue" and under a different email, but my parents forced me into changing my s/n because they were all giddy about having our family name in our s/ns :P

I agree too. I would be a lot more happier if it was "The Lucy Show" that was coming to TV Land. Don't get me wrong, I do like "The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour" a lot, but that has been on the air more whereas with "The Lucy Show" hasn't.
