Does anyone think Raven Symone is... uh... full of herself? I don't know if I necessarily think that because I haven't seen enough of her, but some of the things that come out of her mouth just sound weird. I'm sure it is just her and she's not intending to come off as a pretentious snot. But ok... I'm watching Access Hollywood, and she is doing her little diva voice, "I used to watch Rudy on the Cosby Show and I just KNEWWW I could do that, so I told my mom I wanted to be on the show." Uh, it's the year 2003, and she actually said that like she pulled it off. I know Olivia fans will disagree, but it's no suprise that many of us think she tainted the show, to say the least.

And then I watched Star Search and she was the guest judge. I know I need not agree with the judges and that's cool, but when I disagreed with her I actually resented her and her little voice.

Raven was on the weekend Access Hollywood that lasts an hour. They usually have top ten countdowns on these weekend ones, and she was one of the top ten childhood star people they profiled. I don't think it was a rerun. You'll probably catch it actually rerun sometime in the future. I've seen them rerun the weekend shows pretty often.

She was the judge just this past friday on Star Search. Star Search never reruns, as far as I know.

No no, nothing like that. Do you know Entertainment Tonight (ET)? It's a show like that. It should come on your local station. Here, it comes on the Portland NBC, and the Seattle CBS. You should check the local listings in your area.

That's exactly how I felt about it. And to hear her on that show last night say that she knew she could do what Rudy does, and by the tone in her voice, it made her really sound conceited. I was wondering if this voice she has is some little attitude she is trying to work, or if that is really her. We'll never really know and it doesn't matter anyways. Hearing her in that interview just suprised me, so that's why I came on here two seconds later and started this thread.

Olivia might have come after Rudy, but, in my opinion, was still better.

I am so glad HD is back to the start of the series. Season 1 and 2 are my favorite. And Leave It To Beaver is my favorite sitcom of all time. I can't wait for tonight's episode (if in fact that one will be playing--digital cable tv guide is sometimes wrong), I haven't seen it in years.

And for all you Raven-Symone fans, I heard she's working on a movie with 3LW and it should be releasing next year. Right now the title is called The Cheetah Girls, but they might change it.

I like Raven-Symone but I don't think she help the show. I think it would of have been better with her off of there. It seems like she was taking Rudy's place.

I think she is a good singer, I would rather see her sing than act. That's just my opion so don't get offended.

As much as I am a fan of Raven, I agree to how any celebrity may seem to act or do act. Maybe a little bit of everyone is right about how she acts. I love the girl as a singer/actress/&writer....however, you'll have to agree that there's a little bit of snobbish or rude behavior in a lot of famous people. And what Raven said when she was 3 or 5....come on! She was a toddler...LoL.....the way a person is, is just there human behavior and personality. I personally think that she is a fine young lady and has worked hard to get where she is. Until you can have the chance to get to know a person...in person....don't judge them. If the way she acts bothers you, don't think about her! That'll solve your problems! I love the girl and she is pleasing to me, so I love to watch her. And if you don't.....don't! Gosh, I have no idea when that website will be updated. I have never been to it until today. It's the best website I've seen for Small Wonder though. Yesterday, after seeing your pics, I did a search for the show but never went to smallwonder.hispeed.com, just a couple other sites instead.

Nick at Nite is so disappointing. A couple years ago when they had "Revenge of the 80s Week," I thought they would eventually show some more shows, like "Small Wonder." But they never did. It SUUUCKS.

I don't particularly like Raven either...yes, she was a cute kid, and a beautiful young lady today...but she definitely was/is full of herself.

When the Cosby Show started, Rudy was very believable as an innocent little child. But with Raven, you knew she was acting, and worse, SHE knew she was acting. She knew she was a TV Star at whatever age she was at the time, and that destroys any pretense of innocence in her character. Rudy actually seemed like an unspoiled kid for the first couple of years the show was on.

Any time a new kid is introduced to a show (to disguise the fact that the original stars are getting older), it's a jump the shark moment.


So, to summarize, Rudy was cute and innocent when the show started, but Raven overacted the part from day one. And she definitely is full of herself.

Rudy and Olivia were both believable characters, I can live with the fact that there are kids like them both...I don't know about other people. Raven was 3 when she did that role and ofcourse she was acting and I'm sure people knew, what else would you expect watching someone through a TV screen?

Raven killed the show along with Pam. Her character was not likeable. The funny thing is Raven thinks she's a big star, but she's only a star on the Disney Channel Big woop. She is very untalented in my opinion.
