No, you can't. CD writers only copy audio. If you wanna copy DVD's you'll need equipment that copies audio and visuals.
As far as I am aware there are no machines available that make DVD-to-DVD copying possible, although you can buy a 2-in1 DVD player/VCR with which you can - theoretically - copy DVDs onto video tape.

Yep. And with copy-protection on most commercial DVDs, you couldn't do it even with equipment.

Yeah, that's why I said "theoretically". It is possible in theory but there are very few DVD's which don't carry copyright protection.
If you can find a DVD without copyright encoding then I'll buy you a beer! :lol:
