Ravey 04-05-2003, 03:02 PM No, I don't think you can... Kay Scarpetta 04-05-2003, 03:55 PM I dunno, try.... Mossopp 04-05-2003, 04:38 PM Originally posted by peter may can you make copies of DVDs with regular CD Writers? No, you can't. CD writers only copy audio. If you wanna copy DVD's you'll need equipment that copies audio and visuals. As far as I am aware there are no machines available that make DVD-to-DVD copying possible, although you can buy a 2-in1 DVD player/VCR with which you can - theoretically - copy DVDs onto video tape. dawsongirl 04-05-2003, 05:05 PM Originally posted by Mossopp As far as I am aware there are no machines available that make DVD-to-DVD copying possible Yep. And with copy-protection on most commercial DVDs, you couldn't do it even with equipment. Mossopp 04-05-2003, 05:13 PM Originally posted by dawsongirl Yep. It is possible in theory but there are very few DVD's which don't carry copyright protection. If you can find a DVD without copyright encoding then I'll buy you a beer! dawsongirl 04-05-2003, 05:16 PM Originally posted by Mossopp Yeah, that's why I said "theoretically".
