Okay call me a Newbie at this, but I have never been able to see the proper episodes.

The story line goes that Ricky (and company) went out to CA to make Don Juan, but that gets shelved, so he makes "another" and they end up going home on the train. (just saw that episode)

Did they ever get back to their same apartment? and if so, how long was it before they moved to that ranch in Connecticut or ???

And what was the premise for moving?

Yes, they did go back to their apartment for 7 episodes. Then they went to Europe for 14 episodes. Then (at the start of the 6th season) they were at the apartment again, but soon they ended up in Conn. They went to Conn. because Lucy, after visiting a friend in the country, wanted out of the city.
