Hi everyone. I'm a new I Love Lucy fan, and I'm new to the I Love Lucy board. Some of you may recognize me from other sitcom boards.
I did something that no one does. I have taken the last week and read every post here. I wanted to read all the old posts so that I could soak up as many facts about Lucy as possible. Many of you I feel like I already know. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/wink.gif
I am similar to a lot of you in the fact that I'm also young...in my 20s. I didn't grow up with a TV, so it's only really been since I got TV Land that I even discovered that I love classic TV. I know that I've seen some I Love Lucy in the past, but it was the recent marathon on TV Land that got me hooked on it now. Some episodes seem somewhat familiar, but I don't think that overall I've seen many episodes, only the classics.
I've checked a few books out from the library to help me learn more about the show and Lucy and Desi. I've always known their names, but it wasn't until I started reading about them that I even found out they got divorced. I also thought desi jr was their only child, and that he played himself on the show.
I know that when I have a question about what I'm learning, you will see me asking here. I know that you all have a lot of knowledge, and hopefully it won't take me long to "catch up".

P.S. I love how you all use the smilies. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/happyface.gif
