Does anyone have any info on when the Wonder Years series might show up on DVD ?
I have been told that FOX owns it.
I have been told that Warner distributes it.
I can not believe that this great show is somehow lost and will
not be offered on DVD.
Please post any information that is available.

There is one or two Wonder Years DVD's out. I know one of them is a Christmas DVD, but the quality isn't very good and there are only about 2 episodes on them. Other than that I don't know of any future releases.

I've heard that they are not releasing the episodes on dvd because of all the royalties they would have to pay for the songs in each episode. Not sure if this is still the case, I heard it long time ago. I saw we get a petition started!! :)

go to www.tvshowsondvd.com -- it's free to register.....vote for your favorite shows, when they get enough votes, they send the results to the companys that hold the rights......i'm also trying to get the honeymooners classic 39 and the jackie gleason show on dvd. eventually they'll come out on dvd, at least the classic 39 will, but i'm not too sure about the wonder years anymore. and it's one of only a few shows i would consider a "classic" from the 80's on -- so it's kind of a shame it hasn't been released yet.
