I am watching the first season on Oxygen. I think Cree Summer might be in the season 1 opening. She is one of the girls holding jump ropes for Jaleesa. She is wearing a black shirt and blue shorts.

I am not sure it is her. But it is possible because she and Lisa Bonet are best friends.

No way. That's not her. That girl is too young. They do have resemblance but it's not her.

Cree Summer never appeared in the first season of A Different World. She didn't join the cast until 2.

You're probably thinking of Marissa Tomei, who was in the 1st season.
