That's pretty cool, thanks martina! I notice 2 things in the year 1957, Sputnik and Little Rock. Sputnik and LITB were launched the same day, which I thought was pretty cool. And Little Rock: I live there, and am well educated in the story of the Crisis at Little Rock and the Little Rock nine. But I was just going to mention that several members of my family and a lot of my friends attended Little Rock Central High School, where it all took place. The school has visitors from all over the country every day. One of my friends told me how weird it was to be sitting in class and have tourists walking the halls and looking in their classrooms while they're in school. That would be weird. But about the Little Rock Crisis, have you ever heard of the movie "The Earnest Green Story"? It's about that. I have 2 friends that were in that movie as extras. I thought that was pretty neat.
