In the scheme of things the age gap was not that severe, and I agree that later in life, these two would be suited for one another.

I made the Alabama comment because that same day I read about the 40-something year old teacher getting lawfully married with her 14 yr. old student.... only in Alabama.

Sarah was waaaaaay younger than Charles. It's disgusting.

Everyone thinks that he and Jamie shoulda hooked up...but I feel the sibling connection between them, too. And it doesn't help that Nicole and Scott dated off-screen.

I always thought it would've been cool if Charles and Jamie hooked up, but now that you mention it, Sarah would be better suited for him.

I think that Sarah and Charles had more of a big brother/little sister relationship and I really cannot see them involved romanticly. I actually never knew that Scott Baio and Nicole Eggert dated off screen.

I for one think the last show should have been their wedding ceremony.:crazy:

I can't see him with either Sarah or Jamie. The age difference is too big, plus with Charles being their baby-sitter, it would seem like a relationship would never be on equal footing. No, I think it's better that Charles, Jamie & Sarah get with different people!

scott baio went out with nicole eggert for a little while

I remembered watching Charles in Charge, and I am fan of Josie Davis, the beautiful girl who played Sarah Powell on the show. I can imagine Charles and Sarah getting together in some reunion movie if they agree to take part.

After all, they are not related. If I were Charles, I would love to date and even marry Sarah. By the way, is Josie Davis married?

Back in the 80's, the age difference was too much. Charles's character would have been appx. 18-19 (just starting college) when the show began and was probably only about 5-6 years older than both of them. I don't think it would be an issue at all in present day if they did some sort of reunion movie.

That said, I saw more sparks between Charles and Jamie. I always felt they had some sort of sexual tension thing going on the way they fought with each other all the time.

Charles and Sarah felt more brother/sister to me, but I don't think it would have been a big deal at all if he had married one of them in the distant future (i. e. after they graduated high school or college).

Nah but it would've been hot to see the 2 sisters later Nicole Eggert and the other in a hot girl on girl action really turning each on in a different series or Adult Movie.:wave:

Ok I would not vote to have either of the girls get together with Charles not because of age but because he was like a big brother to them, especially Sarah.

But while we are the subject of age, In real life Scott was born in 1961 and Nicole was born in 1972 that was an 11 year age diffrence add one more year for Josie, But on the Show Charles was only about 5 years older than Jamie. I think the Jamie character would have been about 17 and Charles would have been about 21 or 22. It would have been an eww thing at that age but if she were 22 and he were 27 it would be that bad.

Sara and Charles would have made a neat Couple.
