LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - It's not over yet between Phoebe and Mike on "Friends."

Paul Rudd, who played Phoebe's (Lisa Kudrow) piano-player boyfriend Mike on nine episodes of the NBC show this season, will return for the season's final two episodes and the show's 10th and final season in the fall.

The deal calls for Rudd to appear in five episodes next season, with an option for another five, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Rudd's return to the show will likely come as good news for fans of Phoebe, who's had the fewest shots at real love during the show's nine seasons. The 16 episodes in which Rudd will appear is an unusually large number for a "Friends" guest star.

Rudd's other credits include "The Object of My Affection" (with Friend Jennifer Aniston), "Clueless" and the upcoming "The Shape of Things."

I'm glad that Paul Rudd is going to be back on Friends. I think he's been doing a great job on the show. I wonder if he will end up being Phoebe's "lobster." :D

I hope so. I like Mike and Phoebe deserves someone like him. Hopefully he'll change his views on marriage.

They should just make him a regular IMO.

Oh, I'm glad he's coming back! :) I was sad too when I thought he wasn't going to be on Friends anymore. I like Mike & Phoebe together.
