LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - "CSI's" Gil Grissom has Catherine Willows (although he really has his eye on Sara), and now his Miami counterpart is getting some new smart, sexy eye candy as well.

Sofia Milos will join the cast of CBS' "CSI: Miami" next season, making her recurring role as Det. Yelina Salas a full-time gig.

Ever since Kim Delaney abruptly departed the freshman series a mere two months after it premiered, the show has been without a solid female lead, leaving star David Caruso to serve as the sole anchor for the ensemble cast that also contains Rory Cochrane, Emily Procter, Adam Rodriguez and Khandi Alexander.

The daughter of a Greek mother and Italian father, Milos speaks six languages and has had several high-profile roles, including the Neapolitan Mafia head Annalisa Zucca who both stood up to and got under Tony Soprano's skin during the second season of the hit HBO drama.

She will next appear on the March 31 episode of "CSI: Miami."
