First, this question:
I've been mystified for years, as to who the fellow is on the last 2 seasons of LITB that introduces the cast members as they appear at the start of the show. I think, & correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe after studying that voice after listening to the theme song on this website, the gentleman who does the introductions is "William Schallert", who played the father on "The Patty Duke Show". That's about as close a guess as I can come to,& I think he's the man that does the introduction. If anyone out there knows for sure, I'd appreciate your response. I've been watching LITB for almost my entire life, & now at age 48, I just never get tired of watching that type of good clean comedy. I think my favorite episode from the final season is when Beaver & Gilbert were home by themselves, & they let that old bum inside the house to eat a meal, & then took a chance by letting him take a bath in the tub upstairs.
Another question: All the theme songs are excellent on the website, but there's one that's missing & I don't know where I can locate it: it's the ending theme song from the 1st 2 seasons, where Beaver takes a few swings around the streetlight. The one I'm able to get is from the CD as a re-make, but it's not the original TV version......that's the one I'm trying to find. Can anyone out there direct me to that original ending theme song...please??????? Thanks!
