The Los Angeles Dodgers are mentioned in at least two episodes of The Brady Bunch, namely "The Dropout" (retired Dodger Don Drysdale guest appearance) and "The Winner" (Bobby the only trophy-less Brady; dream sequence of playing for the club).
Why weren't the California (now Anaheim) Angels mentioned? They were in existence during the filming of the show.

Hey, James how are you. Actually earlier in "The Dropout" episode which was the episode that Don Drysdale was it, the Angels were mentioned. The boys asked Mike about a bonus baby, and Mike said that the Angels signed a player for about $100.000. Well this was 1970, it was a lot of money back then.

Hmm, it must have gone in one ear and out the other! I've seen the episode multiple times, I can't believe I missed that!
I wonder who that $100,000 player was the Angels signed!
