Has anyone ever hugged you and you'll never forget it? It can be anyone but for example, if you met a celebrity and hugged them. Well now everyone knows what's going on in my brain...

The very last time I hugged my mom-mom before she died. It was when she gave me my graduation present. That was the last time I saw her alive. :( But the hug was still special to me because she was so happy that I graduated. :)

I remember when I hugged Carmen at the Coal Chamber concert in December 1999. I had been in love with her for years but I never had the guts to tell her. It was a goodbye hug - I never got the chance to see her again after that night. I just have this vision of her and the smile on her face as she let go of me and ran off accross the street into the darkness....... ~*sigh*~

Another great hug I had was from my mate Kirsty about 2 months ago, right after I told her I'm gay. I started to cry a bit and she just said "come here, hun" and gave me a big hug. That made me feel so much better.
Thanks Kirsty! You rule, mate! :)

It would have to be back in September...Tuesday, September 24th to be exact.... and it was from my principal. Yeah, I know what you're all thinking... but I'm close to this woman inside and outside of school. So September was when I really started to go downhill... so one day in school I just lost it, and I went to her office, sat there for 6 hours and just cried on her shoulder. At the end of the day, I told my mother to leave us alone for a minute (yeah, unfortunately my mother was there for a few hours, because everyone was afraid I was going to go jump off a bridge any minute) and I went and hugged her and she kissed the top of my head and said "I love you". And that really ment a lot to me.

Now I'm crying...

LISALISALISALISALISALISALISALISALISALISALISALISALISALISALISA

:bighug:

It starts with meeting Lisa back in August 2001 when I saw her at a church in Bellevue, WA (practically a mile or two from where I used to live ten years before), I had just seen her the other week in Bellingham and now got to see her closer to home. During the previous week I had learned that my mother's cancer had come back. So when I went to tell Lisa about it in Bellevue, I just lost it--I struggled to find the words, but there was this avalanche of painful emotion rolling over me. For a couple minutes I could not say anything, I just started crying and she took my hands and held them. I finally told her that my mother
had a recurring bout with cancer, so she gave me some consoling words and told me to read 1st and 2nd Thessalonians. I just felt so happy the rest of the day.
So back in April at the Oregon Right to Life Convention in Eugene, Oregon (BTW, THIS DOESN'T HAVE MUCH TO DO WITH THE SUBJECT, OR MAYBE IT DOES, BUT "IRON MAN" BY BLACK SABBATH IS ON THE RADIO), I got to tell her some great news--my mother's cancer had disappeared!  Lisa said that was great and "how 'bout a hug!!!" YESSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was chemotherapy, medication, and prayer that helped...but I made a mistake, I found later, the cancer hadn't disappeared, but my mother's cancer just went into remission...but still good news nonetheless.

The day my grandpa died I went to my junior high to see my old English teacher, the one who is more like my friend now. I had been e-mailing her while my grandpa was in the hospital and she knew that he died. When I got there she just pulled me close to her and hugged me which was different from our usual "hi's" before we hug each other. I needed that hug so bad, just knowing that someone was there for me. I almost started to cry, which is rare for be being that the only time I really cried around this time was when I realized my grandpa was going to die and the last time I saw him before they closed the casket.

My most memorable hug was last fall when I met Valerie Harper. (Yes, that story again! LOL!) As we were leaving, I suddenly remembered I never got my hug, so I turned around and with all the nerve I could muster, I said, "Wait, can I get a hug?" And Valerie said, "Sure!" so I went over and hugged her. But when my aunt took the picture, my face didn't show too well. So Valerie said, "Let's get one where her face is showing!" and she posed with her arms around me!! I was in heaven!

That's my story!

Yeah... she's a very sweet woman. She's basically like my second mother, especially helping me through this stage of life. I'm having an extremely tough time, and she's always there for me to lean on. She's also said some other really caring things to me, but those are kinda personal, so ya know :)

when me and Jonathan were just friends, i was walking him to his car cause he was about to leave my house, and when i went to tell him goodbye he just leaned in and gave me a hug. I know it sounds stupid, but it was the first time he ever really showed any real feelings towards me. But yea.. it was nice

2 yrs ago at the winter retreat in the mountains w/ my youth group- we did this thing where one person started w/ a lit candle and they lit someone elses of their choice and then they lit someone elses etc etc etc... until all the candles in the room are lit. There was this girl there who i had a huge rivalry with- we'd never really talked but we just didnt get along for some indirect reasons- so when it was her turn she walked around the circle and i was sitting next to her friend so i assumed she was going to light her candle but instead she came up to me, we lit the candle and she started crying and we hugged and nearly set each others hair on fire, and laughed, then cryed again and spent half the night talking about everything, it was just really amazing.

another would be at my friends funeral when his older brother came and found me because he thought i needed a hug. i had been a total wreck and that just made it a little better knowing that he had remembered me in all the chaos.

Last year, my cat got hit by a car, and the morning after it happened, I went in to first-block Spanish in tears. My teacher gave me a really big hug and didn't even care when I got snot on her shirt. That meant a lot to me, so I returned the favor when her dog (her favorite thing in the world) had to be put to sleep earlier this year.
