You? tdr 03-28-2003, 08:40 PM Originally posted by trekkie I'd have to say the one where a teenage girl has a crush on Rikky. You? No, I doubt if she had a crush on me, too  . I think my least favorite ep is where Bea Benederet plays the old "Miss Lewis" who has a crush on the grocer (Edward Everett Horton). It's not a bad comedy plot, but everything is too extreme; Lucy junks the apartment to show she is a terrible housekeeper, serves him dinner which is frozen and raw, and somehow gets a dozen or so kids to come and pretend to be 'hers.' What did she do? pay their parents off for them to do that? RGO 03-28-2003, 09:38 PM The only episode I didn't like was Lucy Goes To Scotland. I once heard that Lucy's least favorite episode was Lucy meets Orson Welles. ~LadyJess~ 03-28-2003, 09:46 PM Wow, I'm surprised no one said "Drafted" yet. I'm sure it will come up though. I think my least favorite episode is the Harpo Marx episode. I know it's a classic but there's just something about it I don't like. LucyFan 03-28-2003, 09:52 PM My least favorite episode is "The Publicity Agent" (episode #31). I never liked that episode because the plot seemed dull and boring (to me). dawsongirl 03-29-2003, 01:32 AM I can't say just one...just can't. Drafted- God that was a horrid plot. The Harpo Marx ep- Grates on my nerves That bicycle one in Italy Yeah, the Orson Welles one JaneTVFan 03-29-2003, 04:10 AM Originally posted by ILoveLucyfan4eva Wow, I'm surprised no one said "Drafted" yet. I'm sure it will come up though. Okay, DRAFTED!!! Cashodeen 03-29-2003, 06:15 AM The Scotland one has to be mine. Although I don't much care for the Orson Welles one either. Mickey 03-29-2003, 08:18 AM The Moustache is pretty bad. Everybody playing up to that talent scout all the time is just plain embarrassing. dawsongirl 03-29-2003, 04:42 PM Forgot- I hate "Lucy's Italian Movie." Classic it may be, but I don't like it. Leigh Ann 03-29-2003, 11:33 PM Lucy goes to Scotland & when she pretends to be a gypsy for a publicity thing for Ricky have to be my least favorite episodes. oldshows 03-29-2003, 11:52 PM Most definately "Lucy Goes to Scotland"!!! SPLAIN 03-31-2003, 11:02 AM Nobody said Drafted because i wasn't here yet, DRAFTED, THEN SCOTLAND! Mickey 03-31-2003, 11:28 AM Sigh. Inserts increasingly predictable response - I like Drafted! SPLAIN 03-31-2003, 02:21 PM Now that they are coming on to DVD's, would you like four of five copies of it in VHS? They're like NEW! Never been played! I've seen worse than Drafted, much worse, but one or two lemons out of 180 is not BAD! ~LadyJess~ 03-31-2003, 08:54 PM Originally posted by Mickey I like Drafted! I don't have a problem with Drafted either. I just know how people on this board feel about it, that's why I was surprised no one said it. SPLAIN 04-01-2003, 10:55 AM Like i said many times before, there's actually nothing wrong with Drafted, except for the stars not having established their real FULL characters yet, and that fake cry Lucy and Ethel did, but we always name it as a joke more than anything else. But as a kid Scotland and the Gypsy one and most others with many musical numbers i HATED, now that i'm older, i know the music by heart and LOVE them, so tastes change with time. Mickey 04-01-2003, 04:08 PM The Scottish one, (regardless of musical numbers!) tends to annoy people from the UK rather. The accents, and the whole image of life in Britain, smacks of the weird ideas American TV has about these things. Sometimes you just laugh at it for being so unrealistic, sometimes it get annoying - especially because it still happens in current shows! SPLAIN 04-02-2003, 11:38 AM They might HATE that show, but think how Viv and Bill must have REALLY HATED to be in that costume TOGETHER! Mickey 04-02-2003, 11:57 AM Serves them right! Life's too short to hate someody that much - espeically for such daft reasons! SPLAIN 04-02-2003, 02:50 PM But they paid for it in the end, Desi offered them both a spinoff and their hatred forbade them accepting that so they slowly faded away. Mickey 04-03-2003, 05:14 AM Might have been for the best though. They were tremendous in support, obviously, but do you think they could have handled their own show? They'd have needed some other couple to play off against probably. I wonder how it would have gone? SPLAIN 04-03-2003, 10:29 AM Nope, i dun't! Bill died six years after the last Lucy Desi comedy hour was aired, and as great as they both were, one was a pain in the rear and the other had severe mental problems, so that alone. Then, like you said, a line here, a line there, is not enough to sustain a whole show! Ask Kramer from Seinfeld! BundyBoy10 04-26-2003, 02:31 PM A few episodes in the last season were not that good. Any musical episode I disliked too. :p Just Popped In 06-24-2003, 02:36 AM Originally posted by dawsongirl Forgot- I hate "Lucy's Italian Movie." Classic it may be, but I don't like it. You're not alone there....I don't care for that one either. But my least favorite one is "Lucy Cries Wolf" (and as a matter of fact that's the first one I've ever seen.). Well, perhaps I stand alone in not liking that one...... SPLAIN 06-24-2003, 09:36 AM WOW, people who don't like the Italian episode, what's next saying Mozart's music had too many notes in it! LOL! *ShortCake* 06-24-2003, 11:46 AM Originally posted by SPLAIN WOW, people who don't like the Italian episode, what's next saying Mozart's music had too many notes in it! LOL! LOL You are too funny!! i agree though, I liked Lucy's Italian Movie. And, Lucy Cries Wolf. Course Lucy Cries Wolf... it was the first episode I had on tape.. *gets all mushy from sentiment* LOL. I like it, I think its a great episode they both are actually. I didnt like Lucy goes to scotland. Claude knows how i feel about that one. dawsongirl 06-24-2003, 07:36 PM Originally posted by SPLAIN WOW, people who don't like the Italian episode, what's next saying Mozart's music had too many notes in it!
