Lumpy: Did you go out for anything, Dud?
Dudley: Well, I went out for football, but I got my finger stepped on, so my mother made me quit.
Eddie: Well listen-- I went out for basketball and I got my hair pulled, and my mother made ME quit.
Dudley: It's not that I was afraid of getting hurt or anything; it's just that-- well, it's kind o' hard to play the flute with a busted finger.
[Eddie and Lumpy suppress laughter]
Dale Midkiff is my man! :)

LucyCompanyPhan 10-17-2001, 06:16 PM i LOVE both shows.. u got to look at it in different ways.... ones male and ones female, 25 years apart.. i think Lucile Ball could stand on her own 2 feet, but without all the other characters on 3s company, the show was nothing. (just look at the screen name)

The first question is easy. I've never found John Ritter funny. So in my opinion, it's Lucille Ball hands down. As for the second question, I can easily eliminate "Three's Company" because I don't find it very funny. Between "I Love Lucy" and "The Lucy Show," I'll qualify my answer by saying, had "The Lucy Show" maintained the same level of quality of its first season throughout its run, it would have been as good or better than "I Love Lucy." But unfortunately, that didn't happen. The quality dropped greatly over the years. So "I Love Lucy" wins.
