Why on god's green earth did they play the laugh track when Richie was screaming in the mirror in "Welcome Home" pt.2?
It struck me was as being a pretty poor choice.

Yah, but sometimes TV shows used them for the background. Yet, they never seem to place them in the right spot!:crazy:

To add to previous posts, laugh tracks are the dirty little secret that everyone knows about. When a laugh track is used solely it is called "canned," but if a laugh track is used in tandem w/ a studio audience then it's referred to as "sweetened."

Because it was funny. I Cant help but laugh when Richie says "DONT YOU YELL AT ME" in the mirror :lol:

The way he was screaming, he was pissed. I don't think being pissed as a joke.

I just wanted to add that it added a light touch to the dramatic scene.
