1. Well I've read that NONE of them were included in the reruns shown on local stations. N@N just airs the first three. *shrugs*

I wonder why N@N won't show Jack's phone conversation with Chrissy and only Janet.

I wonder about that too. :eek:

Well we may as well wonder why they don't show the other ones with Janet. Those phone tags aren't important to the show so I guess that lets more of the main plot be shown...

Yep, I believe there are 9 total phone tags, 8 with Janet and 1 with Jack. The last one was in "And Baby Makes Four"

Nope, they only air the first three (84, 86, and 88). Which is better than syndication, since from what I've read local stations didn't air any of Janet's or Jack's.

That's because Local stations does not air tag scenes for no sitcoms in syndication. Only the very beginning of a episode, not the ending.

Exactly. But they're not always at the end werm. I mean the phone scenes, not tags lol. The one in #84 is like in the middle of the episode (Chrissy calls Janet, and Janet tells her Jack is getting a job as a chef).

I could have sworn a long time ago I saw Jack and Chrissy's tag in syndication, am I totally wrong?

I just looked at the episode 84 and was wondering why there was no phone sene at the end but you was right it was in the middle

No you are not wrong, it was said that Jack did talk to Chrissy on the phone once but it was never showed in syndication.

Werm well they said they saw it in syndication so who knows werm. Maybe the first prints of the reruns included them or something, since in the 80s they started cutting down the reruns of shows more and more. Or maybe they just thought they saw it cause that happens to me with TV shows sometimes lol. I'll swear I saw a certain scene that was never even made. *shrug*

This was the 80s that I was thinking I saw this tag, but that was so long ago I probably am full of applesause. I just remember taking notice of the tags back then because I thought they were weird... ya know, the whole Chissy has to be on this trip and only shows up on the episodes during phone scenes.

I do know for a fact I have seen these tags long before TC aired on N@N, but since you said in an earlier post that syndication never played them, it all doesn't add up.

Hmm werm well I was only saying what I read somewhere so that source could've been wrong. It's interesting that they chose to include the tag sequences instead of cutting them out. *Shruggers* Oh well.

Oh yeah, totally. And what you read may be right, and I'm totally off my rocker. :) I did go to tvtome.com and under the synopsis for the episode "Make Room For Daddy," the editor said that in most syndicated versions, this tag is cut out (like most of Chrissy's tags). So if that editor is correct, and it is in most but not all, maybe I did see it. Who knows?! :wave:

JACK TO THE RESCUE: At two thirty a.m., Chrissy calls Janet about a bad dream.

JACK'S OTHER MOTHER: Chrissy calls collect to talk to Jack, but Janet answers instead.

MAKE ROOM FOR DADDY: Chrissy calls Jack and says she has wonderful news for him in a letter. Jack suggests that while they're on the phone that she tell him. She agrees, says she's going to stop her father from mailing it, and hangs up.

FATHER OF THE BRIDE: Chrissy calls Janet and they discuss the near fake wedding of Cindy and Winston. Confused, Chrissy gets mad that her own cousin gets married and doesn't even invite her.

TEACHER'S PET: Although Chrissy doesn't call, Jack mentions to Dean Travers that he has three roommates, that one is taking another's place.

AND BABY MAKES FOUR: Chrissy's last phone call, and probably the best. Janet tells Chrissy about how they thought that Cindy was pregnant, and how Jack proposed and then finding out that Kelly was pregnant. Just as Janet feels that Chrissy got the picture, Chrissy tries a playback, twisting up Janet's words and explaination.

I wish i could see those phone tag scenes some day which means that someone would have to have the original ABC airing of those episodes that i'm willing to pay for.
