I know this is way off topic, but I almost got arrested today. Me and 4 others were skating these steps. This bald little dude was like bitching at us and called the cops. He told us they would be there in 5 mins. We just went over to the shopa nd hung out and went back like 20 mins later. Next thing we know., these two cop cars are halling ass toward us. We ran like hell. One was behind us and the other spead around and slammed on the breaks in front of us. They were bitchin aswell. We got let off with a warning but it was scary. Stupid pigs.pig:

Man, that sucks. I don't know why people can't mind their own gosh-darned business! Were you guys really hurting anyone by skateboarding? Althought I must say, if you were on private property and the owners didn't want you there, then they have every right to tell you to leave.

A couple of my coworkers and I got yelled at by a cop once because we were waiting out side the store after closing time for our rides. We weren't even DOING anything! I don't know why people think teens are always up to no good :rolleyes:

I got threatened to have the cops called on me again twice. In 2 days. Sometimes I feel like I'm doing something so wrong.

Hey NORM, just in case you're feelin' bad about the cops, I just wanted to say that maybe the people callin' the cops are makin' y'all sound really bad and stuff, blowin' it waaaaaay outta proportion (maybe just lookin' for somethin' to do).

Anyway, I know sometimes cops can suck, but just wanted to say that in case it's not the cops' fault if they had bad attitudes toward ya. lol

I just wanted to let you know that you did nothing wrong and that cops and people in authority seem to think that skateboarders and teenagers in genreal are all troublemakers when its only a very very select few. I know cause I too use to skateboard and was almost arrested a couple of times. I stope skating cause I messed up my knee really bad ( i was actually playing hockey when I hurt it not skateboarding).

Age discrimination sucks. I'll be 22 later this month and I STILL look like a young teen! :mad: I've gone into stores and had the people working there watching me and following me around like i'm going to do something wrong. I'm White and I don't even want to think about how they treat minorities. I just leave empty-handed and don't go back to those places. I'll take my money to people who act like they actually want it.

Yeah, it sucks when people think they can push you around just because you're under 21. :mad: :mad: :(

Try carrying a board and wearing a mesh hat. Doesn't really help!
