It does have a limit.. but it's closer to 6000. :(

I guess I should have been more clear, the 1000 post limit is for any non Chit Chat board.. so now you now, sorry for any misunderstanding.
Nobody told me about the random post thread until it was almost 6000, I certainly would have closed it sooner had I known about it.. but nobody said anything..
