Julia Louis-Dreyfus returns to NBC in a revamped version of her sitcom Watching Ellie! Nearly a year ago the network pulled her show, but the Peacock has a lot of faith in the former Seinfeld star. Access Hollywood's Shaun Robinson went to the set for her triumphant return.

Highly-hyped during last year's Olympics, Ellie debuted well, but never really caught on. NBC shelved the show after only ten episodes – which usually means the death of a show – but not this time.

When asked how she felt to be back on the set, Julia told Shaun: "I am thrilled – we're having a ball."

Now back in production for season two, the show has made some changes. The biggest is the addition of a live studio audience. So how does it feel for Julia to be back in front of a crowd? "It feels like wearing comfortable shoes again. When things work there is a response. You get that from an audience and you're flying high as a kite as a result," Julia told Access.

Julia also told Shaun that viewers can expect a lot more Ellie high jinks. "They can expect that Ellie is going to be humiliated many, many times," laughed Julia.
