View Full Version : Deborah (formerly Debbie) Gibson
Anti Pop Superstar 03-25-2003, 04:59 AM :) Deborah Gibson is one of the greatest Divas of all time.
I'll admit that I have a healthy crush on her & I'm 19.
She was quite a cutie & now looks HOT!!!
Pictures: (on a fan site,I occaisionally visit, that has a lot of pics)
www.naturally-deborah-gibson.net
She's now a Broadway Diva with 9 plays...on/off Broadway.
Currently on "Caberet". She still occaisionally puts out albums like "M.Y.O.B." (2001) & "Deborah" (1997), both from her own record label.
On March 28, Deborah will be co-hosting on "The View".
Tune in if you want to watch her talking with Barbera Walters, Joy Beyhar, & Merideth Vierra.
I have 6/7 of her albums, 4 video tapes (including "What You Want" video single), & an autograph photo from 1989/1990.
In the 1980's, Deborah (then Debbie) Gibson was a huge teen queen who actually wrote, produced, & perform her own material.
"Lost In Your Eyes" is still one of the greatest love songs (I've heard) of all time.
What's your opinion about the very lovely & multi-talented Deborah Gibson?
Or write about your opinion of Deborah co-hosting on "The View",
:)
BTW, I only dislike current TRL type acts that came around since 1996.
ABlairican Pie 03-25-2003, 08:55 AM Great photos! Thank God she hasn't trashed her image like Britney or X-Tina...
Anti Pop Superstar 03-25-2003, 10:43 AM Well, atleast Deborah Gibson has good taste.

And she looks hot!!! (pardon me)
MandieR1980 03-25-2003, 03:55 PM I've always been a fan, I got her greatest hits CD and Tiffanys too. 2 must haves for any female child of the 80's such as myself LOL
DarleneIllyria 03-25-2003, 10:47 PM I like a few of Debbie's songs.
Great. Now I can't get "Shake Your Love" outta my head.
I'll never get to sleep now.
;)

Really. It's like a rule of society now-a-days that if you sell a million records under a pop label, you must look and be applicable for playboy photo shots.

I liked her because I always thought that she had a beautiful voice and I'm really happy to hear that she's doing broadway. That's her niche, I think.
Mijada 03-26-2003, 07:43 PM I like her. She was one of the few teen performers of that time that actually had talent.

Actually of any time.
Most of today's teen queens are all mindless T&A and lack talent.
Just my opinion.
Deborah Gibson wrote, produced, and performed her own material.
Fact: In 1988, she became the youngest artist to write, produce, and perform a #1 hit with "Foolish Beat" at age 17. :)
The record still holds.
Ricardos4ever 03-30-2003, 01:33 PM Her "Out of the Blue" album is one of the rare albums in the industry that you can put on and play it straight through with out skipping songs. I still play it to this day.
Brandon 03-30-2003, 02:04 PM i think she sux. she's pretty though

Whoa.
What is with the guy who made that site?
A little, umm, youthly challenged to be following Debbie Gibson like the Grateful Dead.
He looks like an amateur stalker waiting to turn pro.
