June cracked me up in this ep. Oh Wally make sure Eddie gets his sandwich:lol:

Did anyone notice that when she put the mayo on she grabed the jar from the cubard. I could be wrong but isn't mayo suppose to be keep in the fridge? Ick......

Yes I noticed that. My grandmother (who many referred to as "June Cleaver," but that's off topic, lol) used to do the same thing with mayonaise back in the 50's and 60's. I suppose it was something people would do back then. I'm not sure. It's not a great idea. There are raw eggs in mayonaise, and it should always be refridgerated.

No wonder Eddie was allergic to mayo, since it was in the cabinet!

Actually I believe that you could die from eating Mayo that's been left out too long. Either that or get major food poisoning. It's a breeding ground for bacteria. I don't even like to eat cole slaw or potato salad that has been left out (like at a party) for an unspecified amount of time.

With June, it seems like it was probably more convenient camera wise to have her facing the door as eddie came in. So instead of having her take the mayo out of the fridge, which would put her in another direction, she took it out of the closet.

But i don't think they would make that choice nowadays because people might start doing it.

Come to think of if, I know a person who got seriously sick off of potato salad. At first no one could figure out what he had eaten to make him that sick, but come to find out he was at a friends house and she had made potato salad for a family gathering and somehow overlooked the potato salad and didn't put it in the fridge. He came over the next night and saw it sitting on the counter and thought she took it out for him to eat, because she told him he could help himself to the left overs. Well, he ate it and later that night he was in the hospital and stayed there for like 4 days! He said he wondered why it wasn't cold...He's not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer if ya know what I mean...

Maybe it was a new jar of mayo. I keep new jars in my pantry (or cupboard). Once opened I put them in the fridge.

And remember back in the 50's and 60's, jars didn't have that plastic around it to keep it sealed from weirdos and nuts. So maybe, June is her frustration grabbed a new jar and twisted the top off quickly through adrenalin. I would of..... "Ooooooh, that Eddie Haskell."

LOL, BeaversBiggestFan. "Not the sharpest knife in the drawer." That's funny... he wondered why it wasn't cold... uhhh gee... lol. That must have sucked, having to stay at the hospital for 4 days. Food poisoning is the pits.

MAYBE that's why my grandma started doing it... she saw June Cleaver pull it out of the cupboard and figured, "Well, if June Cleaver does it..." Lol, that could be just another thing that made her June Cleaverish.
