Our local channel WDRB-41 used to show Diffrent Strokes reruns from 1986 or so all the way until around 94-95. Do you think they still have the prints to these shows and would reair them late at night or something (like at 1 or so, during "old sitcom reruns" time) if enough people requested it? Just curious.

Diffrent Strokes hasnt aired a lot of places since the early 90s. Nor has Silver Spoons. Good Times, Amen, Sanford/Son and All in the Family have. I have never seen Diffrent Strokes before but I've heard many things about it.... Maybe you can contact your local tv station and tell em to show re-runs of DS, since it has not aired many places.....

It is not on cable and has never been ever as far as i know. There is a petion to get it back on. Sign it!

It recently was airing in Detroit and someplace in Florida on some local upn stations but unfortunetly my upn station caters only to new shows so i cant enjoy this great show i used to watch.

well, Amen has been off and on BET, and Nick At Nite shows All In The Family.

I really think it's sad Nick hasn't picked up on this show yet. I would love it if they had a "Diff'rent Strokes/Facts Of Life" hour to be just like how NBC would show them in reruns back in the early 1980's.

Brett, I am sorry you have never seen an episode of DS. DS was a great part of my childhood that I miss. Too bad everyone remembers the show more for what happened to Dana and Todd as opposed to the fact that it was a classic sitcom that ran for 8 years.

I know this only a rumor, but I've heard that Nick at Nite is trying to acquire both Diff'rent Strokes and Hello, Larry to show. This came from somebody in the Kim Richards Yahoo fan club who called Nick at Nite and inquired about it..
