Regular programming will likely return to normal this week on the networks and in local station syndication, except for breaking news items on the War on Iraq.

The Price Is Right is expected to air as scheduled throughout the week, though if news events warrant, CBS would likely substitute a rerun if the program is required to be joined in progress.

The network is expected to announce this week its decision on how to resume the finals of Star Search.
Wednesday night, the live championships were interrupted by the launch of the conflict. The young singer and dance competition had been completed and one of the comedians was in the middle of his routine when the show was stopped.
NBC is scheduled to air a Fear Factor with selected contestants from the Miss USA Pageant (which airs live immediately after the Monday risk game.

The Price Is Right wasn't on today because of the daily briefings in Iraq.

That's why they changed this and next week to reruns. I suppose it's because they don't want to burn off half of a new episode, only to have the rest pre-empted.
