but it would be better to have a convertable
1970 Chevelle SS

Nice choice! Best with either a 396/375 h.p. or 454/360 h.p. (LS5) or 454/450 h.p. (LS6).
Or, for someone who needs better fuel mileage, 350 cu. in. engine.

Fleet 03-25-2003, 12:08 AM This is one of my many choices.
1959 Cadillac.
Fleet 03-25-2003, 12:15 AM 1970 Dodge Charger R/T, with the optional 426-Hemi engine. With 425 horsepower at my command, I would be smiling for weeks owning this car!
Fleet 03-25-2003, 12:25 AM 1957 Chrysler 300-C, 392-Hemi engine, 375 horsepower.
Fleet 03-25-2003, 12:37 AM 1959 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer Convertible.
Fleet 03-25-2003, 12:46 AM 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona. 426-Hemi engine. These muscle cars were very fast. In 1969, professional driver Bobby Issac stated that anyone could go and hit 180 mph. straight out of the showroom with the 426 engine under the hood. Wow! And they did not cost very much when new (about $4,500, depending on options). Forget about buying a mint condition example today; they go for around $60,000 and up (way up).
