Congrats to Adrien Brody for winning "Actor in a Leading Role' for The Pianist. I thought it was a great film, one of Polanski's best, and I'm excited that he won the Ocsar. Great Job.

Alright, The Pianist also won for Best Directing and Writing (Adapted Screenplay). 3 Oscars! Good Job everyone.

Too bad Roman Polanski couldn't be here to accept the award for Best Director.

I haven't seen The Pianist but AB seemed so shocked and happy to win, I,m glad he did but I thought Daniel Day Lewis would have won

omg the first/only time i saw adrien brody in a movie was in summer of sam where he was stripping in a gay bar w/ some blow up doll to the tune of la vie en rose--clearly this musn't have given an accurate picture of his acting talents!!;)

Shouldnt he be in jail? he had sex w/ a 13 yr. old afterall, and i wont even say how....

Off-topic: I really think that Roman Polanski should get his oscar taken away. Yes, maybe he did do a good job of directing the movie but he had sex with a 13 year old, and currently he's in France or some place. Not only did he have sex with a minor but he ran away from the law. It really dissapoints me that the Academy would honor someone who would do something like that.

LOL@Ria's comment. That was my first time seeing Adrien in a movie too in Summer Of Sam. I remember that part where he was stripping in front of all those old gay dudes. He took one old gay man into the bathroom & did god who knows what with him. They didn't show what happened in the bathroom between them two. Remember when he was licking that knife while he was dancing Ria? He was a sick dude in that movie. He had spiked hair & Jennifer Esposito really liked him. She's pretty.
