TV LAND shows the TAG scenes and N@N never shows them. I never knew that All in the Family had tag scenes until today-LOL. I love TV LAND versions of All in the Family. I just pray that AITF lands on TV LAND someday.

I know I've prob. said this numerous times before, but I just wish N @ N would drop AITF and move it over to TVL. It would just get better treatment over on TVL. I still say they move them over to TVL. Whether you like or hate AITF, you have to admit the show has staying power. It's like I Love Lucy, it will never fully disappear, imo.

TV LAND just shows more footage than N@N. N@N should only air shows with children in it like Punky Brewster, Different Strokes, Boy Meets World, Step by Step.

Nobody kill me for saying this, but I def. believe that one day we will see Boy Meets World and Step by Step on N @ N. Maybe Punky, that's a very large maybe. Diff'rent Strokes, already there, it got dumped, doubt it comes back to the station. DS is just too old for the station. It's late 80s to early 90s or nothing. You see how the oldest shows get treated. Hmm, I shouldn't say that. Family Ties was in the 80s and it gets pretty crappy treatment.

I agree that AITF should move to TVLand, and I believe this will happen later this year. In regard to the tags, while TV Land does tend to air more of them, there are still some that they do not. Having bought the season 1 and 2 dvds, I am seeing new scenes (especially tags) that I never recall having been aired on either network. One instance comes to mind involves the "Success Story." In the tag, a drunken Archie is sitting in his chair, next to Mike, singing "Bless Them All" before he passes out. I thought it was a nice change of pace from the way the episodes usually end, a rarely seen "sweet" ending. And in "Archie is Worried About His Job," in the tag Archie is bloated from a late night session of beer drinking and pizza eating. He tells Edith since he is on such good terms with his boss, he is not going to worry about missing work. After thinking it over for a second, Archie changes his mind.

Also, it is not only dialogue that is cut but whole scenes. I was watching "Edith's Problem" from Nick at Nite and the scene in the coffee shop with Gloria and Archie was cut. I hope that when AITF moves to TVLand that they air them in a version similar to when the series first came to TVLand.

I just noticed this the other day, when I was watching a copy of "The Success Story" that I taped off of N@N, I noticed that they put a sort of fake tag ending. I don't know why they did that. I also noticed that with my copy of "Edith Has Jury Duty" that was taped off of TV Land. But hopefully, they'll release every season on DVD so I can tape over my episodes.
