Do you remember back in 2001 when Nick at Nite aired "Diff'rent Strokes?" I know I do. In fact, I watched it every night, just like its spin-off, "The Facts of Life." I wish both shows were on some cable network, like TV Land.

Yeah I remember being really excited upon hearing the news of Diff'rent Strokes coming to Nick At Nite. I remember buying a bunch of blank tapes so I could tape every episode, and then after I got about 5 or 6 episodes taped, it was gone. The only thing I can think of as to why the show was gone so quickly is that it must have gotten really bad ratings. I can't think of any other reasons why such a quality show would get taken off the air after so few episodes. Fortunately though it came to TNN for one run last year and I got a bunch of the episodes on tape. I'm with you though. A show as great as this deserves a long time spot on a major network. I have a feeling that with N@N's new programming strategy of modern classics, that it should be back sooner or later. I'll definitely be keeping my fingers crossed.

I also remember it comming to nick i recorded it just about every night i did that unreal athon to. also when it came to tvlands 48 hrs i recorded that i saw alot of episodes that ive never seen like sams missing,bycicle man,hitchiker(etc) i proubly got 50 or more episodes i also got 10 videos from columbia as well

Yeah, the TV Land marathon was great, I've got a lot of episodes taped from that and The Bicycle Man hasn't been shown since.

Yep. That was when I actually watched nick at nite, the programing was great, I watched DS and Nick @ Nite every night. Now I don't even watch N@N anymore, all they show is Cosby and Cheers until 3 AM when I'm not even up. I taped a bunch of DS episodes off there. I'm glad I at least have those, Since no network currently airs DS. :(
