Do you remember when "The Brady Bunch" was airing on Nick at Nite? I know I do. In fact, I remember seeing it so much before I went to bed, that I got pretty sick and damn tired of it after a year or so, just the way I'm getting sick and damn tired of seeing Bill Cosby and his "Kids Say" and "Cosby" shows right now. I'm glad it's on a network like TV Land that I don't get, and I hope it stays there, permanently. Anyway, before I lose my temper, Robert Reed did not die of AIDS as was originally reported 10 years ago. He actually died of Colon Cancer on May 12, 1992, just 12 days after "Cosby" went off the air. You probably don't know this, but just like fellow ABC sitcom "Leave It To Beaver," "The Brady Bunch" never made it to the top 25 in its original five year run, yet became so popular when it died and went to syndication heaven. I don't know about you, but I think that is very good.

Actually I knew "Brady Bunch" and "Leave It To Beaver" never made the top 25. Both are among my top favorite shows. I hate ratings.
Brady Bunch was on N@N until the end of Jan., and I was disappointed to see it leave. I hope it stays on TV Land as well, BECAUSE I get the station. Maybe one day you'll be ready to watch it again if it appears on a station you get. I know I'm waiting for the day when I'm not sick of "I Love Lucy." It may take years.
It stinks that Robert Reed's death was reported incorrectly. I, too, thought for years he died because of his AIDS. I think most people on the board know the truth, thank goodness. We've talked about it before.
Welcome to the boards. If you post on "Leave it to Beaver" I'll probably see you there too.

I remember very well when the Brady Bunch aired on Nick at Nite...I remember watching it every weeknight with my sister at 8:30 before going to bed. It was great. Then we always tried to sneak in a few minutes to watch the beginning of Diff'rent Strokes. *sigh* Those were the good old days......
