Does anybody out there remember when "The Partridge Family" was on Nick at Nite? I know I do. I used to watch it every weeknight at 8 p.m. Prior to NAN showing it, I had never even heard of "The Partridge Family," much less watched it, so I thought that it was a current show because I had seen so many Nickelodeon shows as a little kid. Anyway, I was only 8 years old when "The Partridge Family" made its cable TV debut on Nick at Nite, so, like I said before, I thought that it was a current show, until a few months after "TPF" launched on Nick at Nite when I saw a People Magazine article on David and Shaun Cassidy. When I saw David's picture, I thought to myself, "Hmm...this isn't the David Cassidy I see on The Partridge Family." In other words, I thought that Danny Bonaduce really was a 10-year-old boy in 1993, up to that time. As I read the article, I realized that Danny (just like all of the other kids) were grown-ups, old enough to be my parents. That's when I realized to myself, "This is an old show." And from then on, I have appreciated Classic TV and you know what, I still do. I just wish that NAN would wake up and start showing real Classic TV shows again.
